This End User License Agreement and Terms of Sale (this "Agreement") is a legal contract between you ("you" or "Licensee") and BlunkWorks, LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company ("BlunkWorks," "we," or "us"), for OrbitDisk Pro, a macOS disk-cleanup and duplicate-finder application, together with its License File, updates, and documentation (the "Software").
By downloading, installing, activating, purchasing, or using the Software — or by clicking to accept — you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software. This Agreement incorporates and works together with the BlunkWorks Master Software License Agreement (EULA) and Master Terms of Service; where this Agreement is more specific, this Agreement controls for OrbitDisk Pro.
OrbitDisk Pro helps you find and remove files to free disk space, and finds duplicate files. Deciding what to remove is your decision. Accordingly, you acknowledge and agree:
Built-in safeguards (not a warranty). To reduce risk, OrbitDisk Pro moves removed items to the macOS Trash rather than permanently deleting them, and it is designed to protect critical system paths from selection. These safeguards are provided as a convenience and do not reduce your responsibility or the disclaimers above: items in the Trash can still be lost when the Trash is emptied, and no safeguard can guarantee against data loss. You remain responsible for reviewing actions and keeping backups.
Subject to this Agreement and payment of the applicable fee, BlunkWorks grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Major Version of OrbitDisk Pro you purchased, on the number of Macs permitted by your edition, for your personal or internal business use. The Software is licensed, not sold. The license is issued to the named licensee — the name and email associated with the purchase — and is personal to that licensee.
Your purchase licenses the Major Version you bought (currently version 2.x) and all minor and maintenance updates within it. A future Major Version (for example, 3.0) is a separate product and will require a paid upgrade, priced at our discretion at the time of release. You are never required to upgrade — the version you purchased continues to work under this Agreement — but we are not obligated to support or maintain compatibility of older Major Versions indefinitely.
OrbitDisk Pro is offered in two editions. Each requires online activation and periodic validation using your License File and a hashed Machine Identifier, and each is node-locked to a limited number of Macs:
| Edition | Price | Activation limit | Highlights |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $19.99 one-time | 1 Mac | Core disk cleanup |
| Pro | $39.99 one-time | Up to 5 Macs | Everything in Standard + duplicate finder |
You may move a license between Macs by deactivating one Mac to free a seat, subject to reasonable anti-abuse limits. Attempting to exceed your activation limit, or to circumvent node-locking, is a breach of this Agreement.
OrbitDisk Pro offers a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. The trial gives you time to evaluate the Software before purchasing. When the trial ends, the app does not delete your data or lock you out — it continues to run in trial/unlicensed mode with licensed features limited until you purchase and activate a license. The trial is keyed to your device; reinstalling does not reset it. We may modify or discontinue the trial at any time.
If you own OrbitDisk Standard, you may upgrade to Pro at any time for $20 (one-time). You keep your existing license — the upgrade raises your edition to Pro (unlocking the duplicate finder and up to 5 Mac activations) on the same named license. Upgrade pricing is as shown at the time of the upgrade.
Except to the limited extent applicable law prohibits such a restriction, you may not, and may not permit anyone else to:
We do not guarantee that OrbitDisk Pro will remain compatible with future versions of macOS, future Apple hardware, changed security or privacy policies, or changes to the macOS file system. Apple or third-party changes outside our control may reduce or disable functionality, and we are not liable for such effects. Any restored compatibility may be provided only in a later release or a future Major Version, which may require a paid upgrade.
OrbitDisk Pro is an offline application: it scans and manages files locally on your Mac, and the contents of your files never leave your device. For licensing and node-locking, the app reads a hashed Machine Identifier derived from your Mac's hardware UUID (a one-way hash, not reversible to your hardware ID) and sends it, with your License File and app version, to our licensing service to activate and validate your license. Our backend stores the purchaser's email and license record (including edition, activations, and status). Full details are in the OrbitDisk Pro Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
We reserve the right to suspend or revoke your license — including by adding it to a license revocation list that disables activation and validation — in the event of a payment reversal or chargeback, fraud, license sharing or abuse, circumvention of licensing or integrity controls, or violation of this Agreement or the Terms of Service. Revocation for cause does not entitle you to a refund. We may also require re-activation or re-validation from time to time to confirm license validity.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORBITDISK PRO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, WILL CORRECTLY IDENTIFY FILES OR DUPLICATES, OR WILL NOT LOSE, DELETE, OR CORRUPT DATA. YOU ASSUME THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO RESULTS AND PERFORMANCE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUNKWORKS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR LOST, DELETED, OR CORRUPTED DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO ORBITDISK PRO WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR LICENSE. These limitations apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of sections 12–13 may not apply to you.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your license terminates automatically if you breach it, and we may revoke it as described above. On termination you must stop using and remove the Software. Sections 1 and 7–13 and the general terms survive termination.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The governing-law, venue, dispute-resolution, arbitration, class-action-waiver, severability, entire-agreement, assignment, waiver, force-majeure, and notice provisions of the BlunkWorks Master Terms of Service are incorporated by reference and apply to this Agreement. This Agreement, together with the Master EULA, Master Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement between you and BlunkWorks, LLC for OrbitDisk Pro.
